South Hi Mount started their House System during the 2021-22 school year. EACH NEW STUDENT SPINS THE HOUSE WHEEL THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL WHICH DETERMINES WHICH HOUSE THEY WILL BE ASSIGNED TO for the duration of their SHM attendance.

What Is the House System?
A house is a group that each student and staff of SHM will join PK - 5.
There are four houses within the school.
We like to think of houses as a team all members of the SHM community join.
Students keep their house until they leave South Hi Mount
Students spin our house wheel to determine the house they are In

HOUSE SPIRIT
There are competitions, pep rallies, etc. that incorporate the house system. Students will compete with their house mates.
Every Monday students may we wear a shirt in their house color. Their bottom will need to remain in dress code.
House spirit shirts and other swag will be sold through our PTA. Ordering information is coming soon!
